Plans approved for a 400000 square foot warehouse at Hathaway Avenue and Sunset Boulevard by Hunt Foods & Industries Inc. A Cypress Avenue warehouse with office is requested by Little Electrical Construction Inc. to relocate early next year. Dublin Road Bid Date Set
The State Division of Highways will open bids for a 2.7 million freeway project near Dublin. The eight lane Interstate 680 plan runs about 3.1 miles from south of US 50 to near the Alameda County line with overcrossings at Alcosta and Amador Valley Boulevards and a cloverleaf interchange with US 680. Bids are due January 22 for a 4.1 million grading and paving job on Broadway between Oakland and Berkeley, from west of Warren Boulevard to the Caldecott Tunnel west portal.

Jury Trial Set in Firebaugh Shooting Case
Fresno AP reports a jury trial is scheduled for December 24 in Superior Court for Firebaugh brothers Arthur Salazar and Jesse Salazar accused of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit assault. They allegedly fired at three employees at the C Britton plant in Firebaugh on October 6, warning them not to return.
