County talks stall as jail plan faces opposition

Statewide liquor price war looms in California

San Francisco reports the Central Appeals Board plans to release a landmark decision ruling that California's 37 year old minimum price law for spirits violates the Sherman Antitrust Act. A price war could drop liquor prices by over a dollar per bottle and wine by about 25 percent with beer cuts smaller. Restitution ordered in grand theft case involving CV builders
