Court Denies Rasnick's Appeal in 1967 Hayward Slaying

California Supreme Court rejected Ben Rasnick's bid for a hearing on his conviction for the 1967 Hayward murder of Loyd Grees, an official of Hayward Local 1178 Painters Union. Man Killed in Head-On Collision Near Eden Canyon Road

Charles T Wise, a 61 year old Bakersfield man, died after a pickup driven by Thomas Nisurogi 54 of Hayward struck a boulder rolled onto Interstate 60 near Eden Canyon Road and veered into oncoming traffic. Nisurogi sustained minor injuries.

Fremont Newark College Grant Funds for New Campus
