Ora Loma Sanitary District board approves 30000 general obligation bonds to finance Fairview sewage collection system. Voters approved the Fairview bond issue 142 to 28. Printing bids for bonds to be opened Sept 13. An assessment district planned to fund the project. Routine items include final acceptance of tract 60 and Washington Avenue development.

LOS ANGELES Thirty six of the 160 Shrine temples in North America have booked reservations for the 1950 Shrine convention to be held in Los Angeles June 1928. Ficis A. Stearns, director-general of the conclave, announced that temples are pressing for seats in advance as preparations begin for what he calls the largest Shrine gathering in history.
