Fremont guardian named for six Castro Valley orphans
Six Castro Valley children aged 6 to 16, orphaned after their parents were found dead, were made wards of their Fremont cousin Jesse DeAnda and his wife Natalie by Alameda County Superior Court Judge Redmond C. Staxis. The DeAndas plan to add beds and prepare the home, with a court-ordered administration of the Montalbo estate set for August 20. Donations of food and clothing are being collected for the children.
