Kleindienst tears over Watergate ties in Senate hearing
Former Attorney General Richard Kleindienst testified he wept in April upon learning how many Nixon aides and close friends were implicated in Watergate. He recalled a four hour April 1963 meeting led by Earl Silber and Henry Petersen detailing the scope of indictable figures including Mitchell and Dean. He emphasized none of the information indicated Nixon’s personal involvement, while aides pressed for tapes and questioned Ehrlichman’s influence on questioning Stans and other prosecutors.

Former Air Force officer testifies on false bombing reports Cambodia 1971
Former Captain Gordon Moses testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he was ordered to create a false reporting system for fighter plane strikes in Cambodia in 1969 1970 and 1971. He said missions west of the Mekong were recorded as closer to the South Vietnamese border. He cited senior officials’ approval and a focus on deception. The testimony expands allegations of misreporting tied to the Nixon era bombing campaign and suggests broader data manipulation than previously acknowledged.
