Difficulties in using TV and radio to reach unchurched
Louis Cassell reports that religious leaders are reexamining electronic evangelism as TV and radio fail to convert or attract large audiences. While Bishop Sheen and Billy Graham show some reach, studies indicate sermons rarely convert. church leaders call for higher production quality, innovative formats, and better promotion to build sustained religious broadcasts.
