A 1 year old Fremont woman pushing an empty shopping cart was critically injured late yesterday when struck by a car on Fremont Boulevard near Mowry Avenue. Mary E. Walker, 4540 Seneca Park Drive, was in critical condition at Washington Hospital with possible head and internal injuries. The driver, Robert Ikweither, 19, of Kyemont Avenue, was not cited. police indicated Walker had been drinking and was crossing the street around 5:20 PM.
