Mt Eden Elementary School district will take part in the second Sall polio vaccine test as trustees agreed last night. Youngsters not reached in the first test may receive the vaccine after parental approvals. Trustees granted use of the district’s schools to Alameda County Health Department. The district also approved Hayward Area Recreation District use of three schools for the June 7 recreation bond issue election. Eight persons perished when a three story apartment building in Saratoga Springs NY burned. Seven victims were the Abeel family Gilbert 42 Madeline and five children ages five to sixteen. One more body found unidentified and several residents were injured. The Abeels last were seen clinging to a window as flames swept their unit.
