Chicago officials say A G Blair secretary of the Chamberla Transporta tion company and Capt William O'Brien late master of the barge John D Wilbur are arrested on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses. They allegedly sold three thousand dollars worth of lumber from the Wilbur wrecked near Houghton last September. Insurance agents report payment on a draft for the sum was stopped and the lumber later recovered at Houghton.

Tug Denham Ends Twenty Years On Lake Michigan
St Joseph Mich November 21 after twenty years service on Lake Michigan the tug Hobbie Denham is retired. She will be replaced by a steel craft for the Graham Morton line under a new contract. The Dunham, which operated in Chicago during the tug strike, was purchased from the Row Transportation company two months ago and brought here.
