Field Day Fetes Close of Rockingham Schools Across County
Rockingham County elementary students wrapped the school year with field days at Peak View in Penn Laird and McGaheysville Elementary. PVES moved its event to Tuesday due to rain forecasts, while MES pressed on with 16 activity stations and water games as a storm approached. Fifth graders at PVES anticipated a long waterslide after lunch, with students excited to spend time with friends.
