Farm barn wreck and animal deaths spark jail arrest

At 3 am Tuesday a barn on the Alexander afcMullen farm south of Alan was blown up and two horses shot. Walter Brown saw a man flee. one horse died, the other limped. Sheriff and deputy arrested Samuel McMullen at a nearby farm and Brown will file charges in Monroe.
