Wool Trade Boost and Great Northern Car Order
The Great Northern railway reports a strong wool season with output up and prices firm, handling about 16 million pounds. It notes Montana farmers' large wool receipts, local market strength in Boston, and a policy-fueled prosperity under the current administration. Due to business growth, Great Northern ordered 600 new freight cars for Butte to Great Falls service, half delivered and operating, designed for ore and coal transport with high capacity and dumping features.
