St George's hall Centerville hosted a spirited GOP gathering with ex Governor J I Richards and Hon J R Grice as speakers. They defended the eight hour workday platform and urged support for Governor Folsom and the state ticket. Several candidates including Rudolph Von Tobel and W L Hill appeared to rally voters ahead of next Tuesday’s election.

Noble Divorces Granted and One Custody Dispute

The eleventh annual ball of the local National Letter Carriers branch drew about 300 attendees at Renshaw hall. The event was enjoyed by all with neat dance cards and humorous printed lines after each number. A net 40m fund was raised to aid sick and disabled members.
