The Republican voters of Deer Lodge County are called to meet in designated precincts on May 12 1900 between 4 and 8 pm to elect delegates and alternates to a convention in Anaconda on May 16 1900 at 2 pm. The convention will select 13 delegates and alternates for the state Republican convention in Butte on May 17 1900. Precinct delegate counts listed for many precincts, with Deer Lodge county convention to nominate county and state officers to be held at Deer Lodge on a later fixed date.
Effective February 28 the Rio Grande Western railway announces three new elegant passenger trains on the great Salt Lake route. AM trains include Pullman Palace sleepers and free reclining chairs. transfers to Missouri River routes via Kansas City and to New York and eastern cities require one or two changes. Tickets offered to any point in the country through McBride, General Agent, 47 East Broadway Butte.
Notice warns coowners like Willan Richardson and Charles Buck that unless they appear and pay twelve dollars and fifty one cents plus fees, their property described as Pine Ridge mine assets may be seized. The claim threatens transfer of all rights to the undersigned creditor.

Also included is a separate item about sale of school funds by Silver Bow County trustees authorized by a district election in April 1900.

Total requested four hundred dollars plus interest costs due within ninety days after publication. Attorney in fact signs. March 9 1900.
United States Land Office Helena Montana reports Patrick A Largey deceased heirs Meyer Genzberger and Gustave Callick filed March 7 1900 for a patent for 6.37 acres of the Little McQueen Placer Mining claim in Summit Valley Mining District Silver Bow County Montana designated as Survey No 6666 beginning at the southeast corner and extending to the described bounds.
Public notice documents a mining claim in Silverton county with detailed corner markers, distances, bearings, and adjacent claims. It notes from a granite stake marked 1-W636 a corner point for Corner No. 1 and describes the survey with multiple compass bearings and distances, listing adjoining lodes and claimants as of March 1900.
