Mining Briefs Reveal Shaft Drilling and Copper Strike
A contract by Galt Mining at Nethart sets a 90 foot shaft in the lower tunnel. A Weiser Idaho dispatch to the Salt Lake Tribune reports a rich copper ore strike about ten days ago on the Peacock mine operated by Boston & Seven Devils and owned by the Kleinschmidts of Belena. The strike occurred at 215 feet depth and the operators are Boston, Massachusetts based.
