Butcher Fractures Skull After Stairway Fall at Klondike House
Philip Laun, a market butcher for Hen Kipp, fell down a rear stairway at the Klondike house Wednesday night. He suffered a crushed skull and was taken to Sisters' hospital where trephining was performed. He remained in serious condition but stable.
