Setback for School Bonds Delayed by Legal Question

A proposed $50,000 school bond issue in Silver Bow County faces a delay as the board of education and county attorney review election notices that failed to specify ballot sites. Trustees Lane Clinton and Werrick form a committee to seek a friendly suit up to the supreme court to determine legality, with A. J. Davis potentially handling the bond if upheld. The board added several teachers to the regular corps and approved substitute hires, while longtime teacher Corbin resigned to join the State University. The school census contract went to B. N. Beebe at 3% per name, and Lincoln school basement storage request was denied before adjournment.
