Education Talk and Reception at Butte High School
Dr. Taylor of Kansas spoke at the State Teachers association about education for life as the Butte reception for visiting teachers unfolded. The Boston and Montana band played while refreshments and dancing followed lectures on thinking, accuracy, and the value of scientific teaching at the afternoon session.

Marcus Daly Memorial Association Forms In Miners Hall
A large meeting at Miners union hall organized the Marcus Daly Memorial Association. W. H. Eddy presided as vice presidents were named from counties, and a 15 member executive committee, including ex-Judge W. O. Speer, was chosen. A constitution and by laws were presented and adopted, with $3 membership. An address is to be prepared by early next year and a July meeting set to plan monument care. Adjourned to continue discussions in the Business Men's rooms. Montana Music Co advertises 20,000 sheet music pieces to be given with purchases over $1.00.
