Walkerville Car Line Opens Through Walkerville
Walkerville’s new street railway line opened last night connecting West Granite and Excelsior streets with Walkerville, passing the Moulton and Alice mine dumps. The 1.75 mile line, built in about 60 days at a cost near 25000, features an easy average grade and a plan for 20 minute service.
