Anaconda Faces Special School Election On Term Length
In Anaconda residents hear debates on whether the next school term will run over five months or a full nine months. A four mill regular levy yields about 20,000 dollars, not enough for a nine month term, while nine months require around 40,000 dollars. A special election held August 24 failed to approve a four mill levy to extend the term.
