After an adjournment, 14 candidates remained for the legislature as John N. Kirk and W. G. Thomas withdrew. Delegation votes were allowed when both a delegate and alternate were absent. C. L. Wood led for coroner with James Tachell and C. T. Loomas proposed. In county attorney races Carroll G. Dolman led, with C. M Parr and C. G. Kohl in contention.

Post Office Needs Room for New Premises
An advertisement in the Inter Mountain seeks proposals for a five year lease for a new post office building. The current location at Main and Copper will be vacated after a 90 day notice while a federal building is planned, not ready for occupancy for about two years. Special Agent De Pue works on securing new quarters for the United States court and the local court may convene in October.
