Rich copper strike draws excitement at Allyn camp Montana
In Teton county near the Blackfoot reserve a two-foot vein of copper pyrites shows on the Cracker mine. James H. Harris of Michigan and Montana Copper Mining says the vein may run 40 to 66 percent. Allyn camp, population 500, prepares for earnest work with camps, houses, sawmill, store, and social events as prospecting expands in the Cracker vein area.

New Ledge Prospect Promises Big Ore On Mackey Creek
Asanya of the new discovery reports high grade ore flowing 20 to 60 ounces in a river drift. A 45 foot stretch yielded about 12 tons of rich ore with visible ore in sight, enough to cover all development costs. Promoters plan two compartment raises to convert into a working shaft and, if sinking succeeds, will raise bond, add a large steam hoist, and mine on a large scale toward a potential dividend.
