Floods Check Trains Delayed by Blizzard and Floods
Severe weather slowed rail traffic across the region as floods from mountain runoff and a late blizzard damaged tracks and washed out roadbeds. Crews worked through the night to repair the Dyer Lodee and other washouts, with limited service resuming and warnings of possible further storms. The Northern Pacific and related lines faced continued disruption, but improvements were noted compared to the previous day.
