Gibbons Plans Aggressive Bout Against Tunney in Big Fight

New York June 4 Tom Gibbons of St Paul said he would fight offensively from the opening bell in tomorrow night's fifteen round world bout at the Polo Grounds against Gene Tunney. He avoided predicting a knockout but said he would keep trying for a finishing punch. Tunney arrived in camp looking strong and was backed by trainer George Engel. Jack Dempsey sent a cable promising to meet the winner if offered proper inducements. Heavyweights fill the supporting card with several six round contests and a shortened semi final between Kine Solomon and Romero Rojas.
