National Single Stalk Cotton Show Prize Plan
Louis F. E. Brackeen announces a National Single Stalk Cotton Show with about 10 000 dollars in prizes spanning Virginia to Alabama. Twenty eight regional awards include a 500 dollar top cash prize and a 1000 dollar capital prize for the overall best stalk awarded in Memphis during the Tri State Fair. The contest is open to all growers, tenants and youths with fields of at least one acre.
