Petition Seeks Charter Surrender for Cobb & Smith Timber Co
In Lumpkin County Georgia the Cobb & Smith Timber Company petitions the Superior Court to surrender its charter and franchise and dissolve after paying all debts and distributing remaining assets to stockholders. A stockholders meeting on December 18 1923 approved dissolution. A hearing is set for June 28 1924 with publication of the petition and order required by law.
