Holden promotes alfalfa campaigns to farmers nationwide
Prof P G Holden of the International Harvester Co leads campaigns in Michigan Ohio and Illinois to introduce alfalfa as a profitable crop. The effort uses farm visits by an alfalfa automobile train and local talks, reaching about 60 000 farmers and planning 200 000 acres of seeding.
