Mocked telegraphers and local notices from Statesboro
25 000 telegraphers are pow out on a fake. Preacher J. Webb was bound over this week at Statesboro Ga for wife beating. Mr James H Brown of Jackson county is up on a visit to his parents near Dahlonega. Mr and Mrs Dewey of Florida came in on Wednesday and are stopping at the Tate House. If the disfranchise bill becomes a law it will keep many a poor man from voting. Better let well enough alone. An Atlanta man claims to have a letter written by Christ more than two thousand years ago. So Atlanta is way yonder ahead. Complaint comes from Uncle Jim Kizzle Rural Route No 4 who missed several copies of his Nu a err but gets them when Mr Ben Smith the regular carrier is on the route. We do not know why it is thus but hope it will not occur any more.
