In a cluttered ad from Cuthbert merchants several items are promoted. Bishop and Victoria Towns offer watches and fabric, while Prous and Co. tout linen shirts at low prices. A German remedy promises cures with three doses, sold by T. S. Powat.
The notice advertises reduced prices on a mix of goods described as 7-8 wide prints and fashionable items. It notes alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, lamps, lemons, and drinks served in a stylish manner at low prices. J A Boone and V M Tomlin are listed, with an agency in Cathber, Ga, offering service and insurance representations.
A flood of items from Cuthbert area: John Baeveridge to preach at BL Paola church, died resident E. M. Dake near Cuthbert, mail held for postage to several residents, J. W. Sealey and R. Owen back from buying stock. Local merchants expand stocks, new feed and livery opened, cotton prices mid nine to ten cents, drought persists.
