Cuthbert Appeal in Cuthbert, Georgia

Fragmented 19th century notes mix poetry and reports in odd relics

A garbled collection of local notices and anecdotes mentions a Texas levee, a strange skeleton horse, large wheat crops in California, and political chatter about whisky taxes and school funds. Names and places drift through a sea of misspellings and broken phrases, preserving only hints of 19th century concern.
