Another Air Ship Improves Balloon Idea in Baltimore
The Baltimore American reports Mr. W. F. Schroeder has secured a U S patent for a balloon driven balloon vessel intended to travel New York to London in fifty hours. A 60 by 10 by 12 foot life boat frame with a 70 000 cubic foot gas balloon and a twelve horsepower engine will power side propellers. The craft carries gas pumps extra balloons and can hold fourteen passengers.
