Grave Robbery in Atlanta Miss Goher Interred
In Atlanta last week Mrs. Goher, widow of a Morris coal yard worker, was buried at Oakland Cemetery after expressing a wish to be laid to rest there. Examining her grave revealed it had been robbed. the coffin lid loosened, the body gone, and the shroud and personal items left behind. Family members and friends later opened the grave site and found a torn headcloth and scattered grave goods, with stockings missing and no clear suspect identified.
