The notes of the G W V A were omitted from the last issue due to office machinery installation causing disarray. The secretary requests publication of these notes and the editors express regrets for the oversight.
Notice is given to all persons with claims against the estate of the late Joseph Peach Davis who died about June 29 1922 in Comox District British Columbia. Claims must be verified and received by December 1 1922 at George Charles Davis Union Bay Nelson District B C Executor and Trustee. After that date the executor will distribute assets to those entitled and will not be liable for unclaimed claims. Dated October 17 1922.
Full attendance urged for Tuesday the 17th at 7 30 p m with expected Provincial command and C R representatives to discuss re establishment. Chas Graham of Canadian Collieries will attend. Executives meet at 7 p m. whist drive and dance postponed to the 27th. Secretary asked to collect data on disabled veterans in Cumberland for re establishment efforts. November 10 masquerade ball planned.
Estate of Albert Otto Holtz who died in Comox B C on July 22 1922 requires all claims to be filed by December 1 1922 to George Shearer executor and trustee. After that date distribution will proceed to those entitled and the executor will not be liable for assets of claims not received by distribution time. Dated October 17 192?
