Classified notices show a sale of three young pigs from A L Smith Hornby Island with price requests, milk cows and heifers for sale via H S Porteus Hawkehaw Courtenay, plus a 118 roomed house and double lot for sale or rent by Mrs Roe, a chicken ranch with 3 acres and 300 laying hens advertised by Mrs Hill opposite Dr Beadwell Comox, and a back comb set with diamonds reward for return to L Lo.
A $7900 reward stands for information that leads to conviction of those who shot and killed the writer's war colt on September 4 near the 8, E corner post in Lawrence Kentucky. The notice requests details and promises payment to the informer.
City allows individuals to cut fallen timber on City Part Lots for personal use while prohibiting cutting standing timber. Dumping garbage on the lots will lead to prosecution. City Clerk A McKinnon issues the notice by order of the City Council at City Hall on August 19 1910.
