Thirtieth Annual Report of Canadian Collieries Medical Fund
The thirtieth annual report to the chairman and executive committee details receipts and expenditures for the year ending June 30 1922. It shows a cash balance of 3550 32 and a slight year over year increase. The report notes total income of 369389 82 and expenditures of 865830 50 with a final balance on hand of 3550 32. Medical staff led by Dr Geo K MacNaughton and Dr EB Hicks provided services and the Alexandra Ward required no repairs. The hospital agreement with Cumberland General Hospital reduced monthly fees for four months and one month payment was waived, with careful financing needed for the coming year due to staff and service demands.
