Land Pre emptions and Crown Lands Rules
Vacant Crown lands may be pre empted by British subjects over 18 or aliens intending to become British subjects. Regulations cover residence, occupation and improvement for agricultural use. Details in Bulletin No 1 How to Pre empt Land. Prices: first class land six dollars per acre second class two fifty. Homesite leases unsurveyed up to 20 acres with dwelling required. Grazing and industrial leases up to 640 acres per party under Grazing Act.
