In Atlantic Tasmania Charles Lilienthal received a full shotgun discharge from his cousin Nomy Lilienthal who accidentally fired the weapon. The incident details indicate a mishap during a domestic moment, with Lilienthal sustaining injuries from the blast.
In a Saturday shooting near a corn pile, Charles was struck in the left chest area by a discharge from Lill the rat shooter. The jacket pocket shows holes and torn fabric, while the paper pad held several shot fragments. Lilienthal underwent an hour of removal surgery with injuries not expected to be serious.
Campbell F B Shade Harry Tramp C J Quaskendush and Dr J W Reynolds left Saturday on No 5 for North Platte Nebraska to attend the opening of bids and the letting of contracts for a new county courthouse. Word comes of the death of Isaac Arnold a longtime Creston and Union County resident at Blackwell Oklahoma. The body will arrive in Creston Tuesday at 2 p m with funeral services Wednesday at 7 p m from Opens Chapel Rev Woodrum officiating. Burial in Greenwood cemetery. He was eighty years old and left three children Loyd and Charles Arnold of Blackwell and Lillie of Seattle with other relatives mourning.
