Federal appeal planned in Kennedy habeas case
Lieutenant Frank Kennedy U S N was denied a writ of habeas corpus to gain release from the state hospital for the insane. Naval attorney Thomas L Lennon said a petition would be filed in federal court within days and the fight had begun. Kennedy was confined for observation after alleged insubordination and improper conduct while his ship was in the Orient. Coroner's Jury Holds Black to Grand Jury
