Vacation Bible School Pupils Receive Diplomas
The Cres ton Federation of Churches held a diploma ceremony at the Methodist church for more than 200 pupils finishing a three week Vacation Bible School. Certificates were awarded for perfect attendance and honor certificates for those with one or more excused absences. Enrollment reached 318 with a daily average of 250. A collected offering of 31 dollars was given to support a nurse’s home at Greater Community Hospital.

One hundred eighty residents of Spaulding township attended the monthly farm bureau meeting at the home of James Kerrigan. After a brief program, M. Pettinger showed motion pictures and refreshments were served.
