Claim Man Destroyed Booze When Arrested
Thomas Brennen from Chicago, working near Creston, was arrested Sunday night by Patrolman Jim Donald in the Maple Pine alley on a charge of illegal possession of liquor. It is claimed Brennen destroyed a bottle of alcohol when placed under arrest. He remained in custody of his employer and awaits arraignment, which was postponed pending investigation.

Indians Split 14 11 With Creston In Weekend Games
Creston tops Nebraska Indians 14 to 11 in Sundays game on the fair grounds diamond as Raymond Gidley directs Creston to a high scoring win.
