Bedford, Aug. 23 The Associated Press reports arl Hough is charged with first degree murder in the death of 80 year old Lillian McKinney Herrick whose body was found under a New Market Iowa highway bridge. An Information filed in district court accuses Hough of choking and strangulation. Sheriff William Parrish signed the charge. Hough is jailed and to be arraigned as the grand jury meets. he has not spoken publicly.
