Second Church Notes Show Busy October Campaign

Sunday school at 10 and worship at 11 with Rev Frederick Schweitzer preaching. Youth groups meet in afternoon and evening services follow. Go to Church campaign reports 340 in morning services, 70 plus at prayer meetings, and 50 plus in Men's Bible Class. Community events include Stitch and Chatter, card party, Mother and Daughter Banquet, and Hightstown bicentennial celebrations with parades, fireworks, and prizes for Cranbury and Sayreville units.

The Cranbury Sunday Schools observe a anniversary in the First Presbyterian Church next Sunday afternoon under Schultz Memorial Church. The program features organ preludes, hymns The Fight Is On In the Service of the King, a solo by Mrs Richter, Scripture reading, and an offering. The Cranbury Fire Company is honored for bravery and community service, cited for answering every call and receiving a $50 prize in gold for their parade victory in Hightstown.

Dr F H Green, once with the State Normal School at West Chester and now head of the Methodist boys school at Pennington, N J, will speak at Cranbury Sunday Schools anniversary. He is a sought after East speaker and well known at national business conventions. No community service this Sunday. attendees may fulfill the Go to Church pledge by joining the anniversary if possible.

Members of the Colored People's Sunday School will gather in the mill upper room Sunday afternoon at 2 80 o'clock before marching to the First Presbyterian Church for anniversary services. An evening service for the colored community will follow at 8 o'clock in the upper room.
