Columbus Day Supper and Community Events

Bank reports record deposits exceed one million dollars

The First National Bank Cranbury announces deposits surpassed one million dollars on Monday September 30th, the highest in its history. The notice praises local prosperity and community trust in the bank and its management. A missionary rally at Second Presbyterian Church Cranbury features speakers and musical performances followed by a patriotic address by Judge Peter F. Daly and remarks from Corporal Olivera about the Liberty Loan.

Fifth Annual Princeton Red Cross Meeting on Oct 15 1918

The Princeton Chapter of the American Red Cross holds its fifth annual meeting at Alexander Bull on Tuesday October 15 1918 at eight o clock. President Hibbel presides and officers are elected. Talks by Albert T. Tamblyn on Red Cross development and by Sergeant Coubrough of the British Army follow. All Red Cross workers urged to attend in costume.

Ladies Reading Circle opens season with yearly program

The Ladies Reading Circle begins its season next Wednesday at 3 PM in Mrs. W. R. Silvers's home. The year book lists officers, committee members, and a full monthly program from October to June including talks, films, debates, and a book review with multiple hostesses and organizers named.
