E F Hann D D delivering an inspiring address on Christian duties and opportunities.

Mrs. Winifred Jackson returns from a three week trip to Northern Pennsylvania and New York. The community greets Mrs. Edward Conover, recently ill, after Mr. Conover’s death from pneumonia. President H W Jeffers and J W B Wicoff attended a Walker-Gordon Company directors meeting in New York. Mrs. Jeffers and Mrs. Wicoff accompanied them to witness the secret service play Three Faces to the East. Mr. and Mrs. William Major host a Butterfly Social with strong attendance expected. Locals plan attendances for the Princeton Band benefit entertainments at Alexander Hall. The Ladies Missionary meeting at the manse was led by Miss S P Miller from Princeton with Mrs. Foster as speaker. Visitors from Princeton and Penn’s Neck attended. refreshments served. The Ladies Aid Society finished a memory quilt from Mrs. Charles Carson’s mother, Mrs. Sylvanus Grover. December meeting set for Mrs. Katharine Wicoff’s home. Raymond Satterthwaite, recently quartermaster sergeant, attended his brother’s funeral near Philadelphia after influenza on a North Dakota ranch. Satterthwaite had earlier visited Walker-Gordon Farms. wartime sailors Arthur Mackin gon and Sergeant Andrew Porter’s letters arrived from France. Rev G A Burslem’s letters note his five week stint at Government Training school for chaplains in Louisville, Kentucky. substitutes from Princeton Theological Seminary guide Sunday services. Major family hosts Princeton relatives for Thanksgiving.
