Obituary notices from Hightstown and Cranbury areas
John A. Wyckoff of Hightstown died Friday after a prolonged illness. He is survived by a widow and two sons George and Harvey Wyckoff. The funeral was Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, where he was a member. Rev. Dr. George Whitfield Clark, aged 80, died at Stockton street in Hightstown on Sunday. Born February 15 1831 in South Orange, he served 35 years as New Jersey state missionary for the American Baptist Publication Society before retiring to Hightstown in 1877.

Recounts Ordered In New Brunswick Wards
Chief Justice Bergen ordered three recounts in New Brunswick after defeated Democratic candidates petitioned. The fifth ward recount is set for December 1, the fourth ward for December 4, and the second ward immediately after the fourth ward tally.
