Miss Carrie Davis Burned To Death In Hightstown Home
Miss Carrie Davis, a longtime Hightstown resident living with her niece in Jamesburg, died at 5:30 AM after her clothing caught fire while she tended a cook stove. She was a dressmaker known in the area. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 PM at the Presbyterian Church in Hightstown, with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
