The First Presbyterian pastor Rev. J E Curry preaches a memorial sermon in the morning. The M E Church holds its first quarterly conference at the parsonage Saturday at 8. District Superintendent Rev J W Marshall D D will preach Sunday at 1030 morning and 2 30 afternoon with Sunday School at 7 80. Special music planned and a cordial welcome extended.

Festival June First at Odd Fellows Hall Grounds

A quiet wedding solumnized on Wednesday when Miss Matilda Hagerty wed Harrison Jemison at the Methodist parsonage at eight o'clock Rev W Wells officiated. The bride wore a blue gown and was attended by Miss Ella Hagerty and Loren Jemison. A breakfast followed at the couple's Park Place home with immediate relatives present. Fire destroys records in Princeton council chamber
Fire broke out in the Princeton council chamber on Monday afternoon causing significant damage. The blaze origin is unknown and valuable records were destroyed while furniture was badly damaged. A university fire extinguisher aided the effort and Engine Company No. 8 responded.
