Shock After Report Of Washington Man's Death

Wm. H Jobogon and family learned from a published report that Warren F. Johnson of Washington was killed in an automobile accident. They telegraphed Washington and later learned from Mr. Tumulty, with whom Mr. Johnson is associated, that the deceased was not Warren F Johnson formerly of Cranbury.

Mrs Dunham Recovering After Illness in Trenton Home

Since the start of the year the Dunham household in Trenton faced widespread illness. Mrs Dunham fell gravely ill with a relapse after a partial recovery, pneumonia fears subsided, and her health has shown improvement. Meanwhile others in the family were sick and their longtime maid died.

At Allen town last Friday Ww C Rogers sold 33 horses and at Jamesburg on Saturday 15 head. He announced the sale would end with the high bidder winning and only genuine bidders could bid, as every horse offered would be sold to the owner.

Death of Augustus A. Dey Trenton Railroad Employee

Augustus A. Dey, an employee of the Trenton office of the Pennsylvania Railroad, died on Friday. Funeral services were held Tuesday at his Riverton home. He was the son of the late Ancil A. and Margaret Dey of Cranbury Station and spent his boyhood there.

Death Notice of Mrs Eva Howell at Avalon

Mrs Eva Howell died Tuesday at her Avalon home where she lived with her son Orlando Howell. She was the daughter of David and Kate Clayton of Cranbury and widow of Edmund O Howell. A quiet life followed after his death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM in the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury.

Dey Merriman Wedding in Freehold

A wedding was held at the bride’s home in Freehold on Thursday February 16 at high noon. Miss Carolyn Merriman, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alec Merriman, wed Roland Dey, son of Mr and Mrs Harvey Dey of Cranbury. The bride wore tan Canton crepe with pink rose buds. attendant wore apricot Canton crepe with lavender sweet peas. Best man was Mervie T. Flock of Mercerville. Guests gave checks, silverware, linen and other gifts. The couple planned a short wedding tour after a bountiful luncheon.
