The Circle gathered at Mrs Samuel Perrine's home for a Valentine program arranged by Mrs Barclay and Mrs Perrine featuring songs readings and tributes with participants from Hightstown and Dutch Neck. Mrs Laura Perrine widow of Ruliff Perrine died Wednesday at her son-in-law Harvey Dey's home after a long illness. Funeral Saturday at 2 PM at the Dey home with interment in Dutch Neck.

Mrs. Albert Mershon Dies in Brooklyn
Mrs. Albert Mershon of Brooklyn died at her home on Monday. She leaves her husband Rev Albert Mershon and two children Ruth and William. Funeral services were held in Brooklyn and in the Second Presbyterian chapel. Interment was in Cranbury. Mr Mershon has relatives in the vicinity.

Waite Residence Fire at Deans Station
A $20,000 Waite summer home owned by the late George Waite near Deana Station was burned Wednesday night in a probable incendiary blaze. Mrs. Waite occupied the house in summer. neighbors and guests at a nearby chicken supper helped remove furniture but could not stop the flames. Water from a nearby well failed to halt the fire and the house was destroyed.
